Your RocketBI Journey Starts Here

Welcome to RocketBI! We're thrilled to have you as a part of our community and are committed to delivering an outstanding experience. As a token of our appreciation, you have 30 days to try our advanced data analytics solution. We want to provide the tool low-tech businesses need to perform your data analytics and reporting needs, without requiring any technical expertise.

1. Connect your Data Warehouse

The first step in your RocketBI journey is to connect it to your data warehouse. Your data warehouse serves as a vault where all your important data analysis and processing information is stored. We've made connecting to your data warehouse a breeze with RocketBI. We simplify data management and user access control, allowing you to focus on gaining valuable insights from your data. Happy analyzing!

Connect your data warehouse

Connecting to a Data Warehouse may seem daunting, but RocketBI has a straightforward process that can be easily accomplished with minimal help from your IT team.

To get started, you will need to obtain the Host or the IP address of the Data Warehouse server, as well as the HTTP/TCP port. Additionally, it is important to create a new credential with write & read permissions to ensure that you have the necessary access.

Key questions that you might want to ask:

  1. Why does RocketBI need to connect to your Data Warehouse? RocketBI helps you perform a secure end-to-end data analysis, processing, and visualization within your own data warehouse. Your data, pipeline, reports, and insights would be in one place.

  2. Do we have access to your data? No, all data & data processing would be done in your data warehouse.

  3. What does RocketBI use the write permission for? Business users can perform complex data aggregation with RocketBI: collect, blend, and filter data from multiple sources for in-depth data exploration. Your processes and findings are securely stored in data warehouse, enabling automation and future analyses.

For the best performance, we recommend avoiding the use of RocketBI in your transactional database. This will prevent any potential slowdowns in your transaction system.

2. Collect siloed data

Now, it's time to start collecting data from various business sources. The best part is that you don't have to worry about coding or complexity. You can easily centralize your business data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheet files, Google Sheets, or other online services.
